Projects: Nasma Restaurant in Amman Jordan
Tucked away in the heart of Amman’s vibrant culinary scene, Nasma is a breath of fresh air—its name a fitting whisper of modernity carried on the winds of tradition. Located on Abdul Qader Keshk Street, Nasma is the latest eclectic Arabic restaurant in the Jordanian capital, already making waves for its innovative spirit and sensory-rich experience.
Helmed by visionary chef Saleem Naber in collaboration with Tareq Kawar, Nasma reimagines Arabic cuisine in bold, unexpected ways. More than just a restaurant, it’s a tribute to Levantine roots, delicately spun through a contemporary lens. Here, every detail—from the plate to the playlist—tells a story of heritage elevated by creativity.
The design of Nasma Restaurant is as thoughtfully curated as its cuisine. Earthy textures, arched doorways, and warm tones blend with contemporary lighting and curated art pieces. The space feels both intimate and expansive—a balance of old-world charm and modern sophistication.
Our Role: Laying the Foundation of the Narrative
In this collaboration, we were honored to provide key furniture solutions for Nasma Restaurant, including dining chairs, single-column dining tables, and double-column dining tables. Our mission was clear: to make the furniture transcend its physical function and become a silent yet reliable narrator in the spatial narrative, jointly creating that unique atmosphere of “modernity interwoven with heritage”.
The Solution: Blending into the Texture of Every Breath
Anchors of Modernity: The black woven dining chairs we selected feature clean lines and a sturdy structure. Their simple geometric form and dark grey cushions perfectly anchor the modern tone of the space, while the woven texture subtly echoes the warmth of traditional craftsmanship, serving as a visual link between past and present.
Balance of Function and Aesthetics: The single-column and double-column dining tables, with their pristine white tabletops and refined support structures, maintain visual transparency and lightness. They not only provide the perfect stage for sumptuous dishes like the “nasma salad” or “kunafah shrimps,” but their flexible configurations also cater to diverse needs, from intimate dinners for two to group gatherings, ensuring spatial fluidity and practicality.
The Outcome: A Cohesive World
Ultimately, from in front of the lush green plant wall to under the sun-drenched glass canopy and within the cozy banquette seating areas, our furniture has seamlessly integrated into every corner of Nasma. They breathe together with the rustic brick walls, hanging woven pendants, and curated art pieces, constructing a “culinary destination” where one can feel the warmth of Levantine tradition while experiencing the aesthetics of contemporary design.
